# Retrieve MLE Public Key

Retrieves a specific public key registration by its ID. A direct registration holds a single JWK, which may be an encryption key (`use: "enc"`) or a signing key (`use: "sig"`). A well-known registration holds no JWK of its own, and the endpoint it points to may serve keys of both uses.
